Color of Winter: HOT PINK

So of course you know all my outfit posts always come with a dramatic story of how it came to be lol so here it goes. If you didn't know I am currently located in Atlanta, GA but ALL my FRAMILY is still in Nashville, TN attending the greatest HBCU in the Land of Golden Sunshine THEE (yess with two E's) Tennessee State University! And I had the distinct pleasure to travel back to my old stomping grounds (I damn near go once a month anyway lol) to celebrate the graduation of my best guy friends/ big lil brother's graduation from the university recieving a bachelor's in Human Performance Sports Science with a concentration in Physical Therapy! Anyway back to the clothes, I really didnt feel like there was anything in my wardrobe for the occasion and I just happened to online shopping for a client's birthday attire and I ran across this super cute HOT PINK collarless blazer from Forever21.

In my opinion, graduation is ALL ABOUT THE GRADUATES, and with the blazer being such a neon pink I was scared to wear it. I didn't want to take away any attention, like someone did at the TSU May 2014 graduation (*cough cough ya'll know who I'm talkin' bout*) because it was their day. I got some second opinions and my attire was deemed graduation appropriate lol. I paired it with all black and simplistic jewelry as to not bring any more attention. I thought the blazer itself SET IT OFF all on its own anyway!

Moving on I recieved alot of compliments on the blazer and some that wanted to take it lol, which is what I love about fashion. LET IT SPEAK FOR YOU! The blazer like I said was from Forever21, patterned leggings from Target, v-neck tee Forever21, and shos from GoJane. I will link recently purchased items below!
