This right here is for my crafters! For those who want that exclusive apparel without an exclusive price! These type of pieces are on of a kind CANNOT or should I say very hard to duplicate. The pieces may look similar but NEVER exact, which makes them EXCLUSIVE! I wanted to make these two pieces to duplicate the current distressed denim and band tees. My personal style lands in one of two categories each day. I'm usually either feeling tom boyish or sexy and these two DIY's give me a little bit of both.

"Titty Gang" Top

The top began as a regular black Gildan brand shirt. I used regular bleach, a spray bottle, and some stencils outside on the pavement as to not damage anything with bleach...cause you bleach messes up everything. There was not real method to my madness on getting the design of the bleach stains. I used the stencils in random spots and then would use the spray bottle and let it drip to create a different effect. I then rinsed and washed the top in the sink and once finished threw it in the dryer on the lowest setting as to not burn any holes in the top. Once dry I tried on the top and decided how far down I wanted my slit to go, and them created a home-made stencil in the shape of a triangle to cut around. I left the neck of the shirt on to create a peek-a-boo effect. I then cut the edging of the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt of and stretched them to roll to have the shit look more distressed than structured. I call it the "Titty Gang" top for obvious reasons but that is also one of my self created catch phrases often heard on my Snapchat (TDS0929) story. A video of how to create this top will be on my youtube channel. just put Tangeia Smith Channel in the search bar and I will add the link as soon as its done!

"Bust It Wide Open" Bottoms

Now this has to be the EASIEST DIY you will ever do! I literally took a pair of high waist mom jeans and an average kitchen knife outside as to not damage the floor and just got to slicing. I just cut the jeans all the way down (from upper thigh to foot) straight across with the kitchen knife. That was the most labor I did, and I let the washer and dryer do the rest. The washer loosens up all the now cut fibers and the dryer dries and frays them to distressed perfection. On the thigh of the right pant leg I just took scissors and cut on down and that was it. These jeans are to easy to make and jazz up wardrobe basics.
