Miami Slayage #TwinsTakeMiami

As I've gotten older I have begun to love to travel more and more! Seeing the world (only the states right now) and how each city has its own little personality filled with people from all walks of life and many adventures to be had. This year three friends and I took a trip to Miami, FL for two of my friends, whom are twins, for their 25th birthday. In my hopes and efforts in becoming a well known, trusted, and inspiring plus size fashionista and beauty influencer/guru my mind set on the daily is "SLAY OR DIE!", "To SLAY or to SLAY...those are the only options!", and "I do what I want cause I'm poppin!" lol. On vacation or just in a city that is not my own these mantras are on 10!

While packing I take into account what the city is most known for as far as clubbing, outdoor activities, venues, etc, what the group has already said they want to do, the extraness in me always thinks about how I want to SLAY the scene because I always "be feelin' like the man when I walk through!" lol. I never take into account what anyone else plans to wear and I try to step out of my comfort zone of always wearing black. I also think about feedback I've gotten from followers and friends and how my size and fashion choices and how I rock it inspires them to want to step out of their comfort zone and show more skin or different silhouettes, etc. My fashion choices are #1 always to make me happy and #2 to inspire or provoke/ spark confidence in someone else. Enough with the back story though lol here are some photos of the Miami Slayage! The photos were all taken with an iPhone 5, because the higher quality camera I use to do my youtube videos is just too big to try and carry around! I will be getting a smaller camera soon to be able to start doing vlogs with and OOTD's! The picture quality isnt the greatest, but I hope you like it anyway and of course I will list with links where everything is from and link similar items if the original is sold out or no longer on the site! DAY 1 - The Touchdown

The first day we settled into our little apartment, bought groceries, and prepared for the night life.

Day 2 - The Tapout

This day we met up with a friend from school who also happened to be in town and had a mansion pool party. The plan was to attend the pool party during the day and hit the night scene that evening...never made it back out that night! The day party got too real and everyone tapped while trying to get dressed for the night.

Day 3 - We're Alive

Day 3 we actually got up, got dressed had some adventures and lunch on Ocean Drive, walked and chilled on the beach and had enough energy to make it out and SLAY that night!

Day 5 - We chillin & we OUT

This was our final full day in Miami, as well as the 4th of July! We went out to lunch and spent the majority of the day light with our neighbors hanging out in the pool, then went to see the fireworks that night.
